Our intended audience consists of either current project/program managers, or aspiring project/program managers. Our goal is to empower our attendees and foster their knowledge as it relates to a variety of project management related topics. This event does provide an opportunity to earn PDUs.

Meet the Presenters

Laurin Kelly: CEO and Principal Consultant of Battle Plan Strategic Consulting, and the founder of BWIPM, Laurin brings over 12 years of diverse experience in project/program management, event planning, healthcare, public health, communications, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). She is a PMP and Certified Scrum Master (CSM), committed to supporting career development in marginalized communities.


Ashaki Sorrell: A certified PMP, PgMP, PfMP, CSM, and CSSBB, Ashaki excels in delivering business value through project management. She specializes in bringing order to chaos and has established two project management offices in her 10-year career. Ashaki is passionate about empowering women to pivot into project management through her academy, Project Management Training Academy.


Brian Fludd: A seasoned technical recruiter at The Walt Disney Company, Brian navigates challenging recruitment landscapes with creativity and strategic thinking. He focuses on developing innovative recruiting roadmaps to attract niche-specific, rare candidates.


Keisha Lewis: Chief Enterprise Project Officer for Montgomery County Government, Keisha manages high-impact technical projects and is an entrepreneur owning DTB Solutions, LLC. She is proficient in various project management tools and holds multiple certifications.


Latina Lewis: Owner of Kinsman Point Consulting LLC, Latina is a certified Project Manager with expertise in Agile and Waterfall projects. She emphasizes the importance of clear milestones and has successfully implemented projects across various industries.


Malika Hope: A Project Management, Certified Scrum Master, and Change Management Professional, Malika leads her consulting firm, MalikaHope.com. She offers training sessions and coaching for project managers, focusing on realistic goal setting and career jumpstarts.


Mishka Bell: Senior Project Manager at Canon, Mishka's career spans technology, project management, and community service. She advocates for the inclusion of women of color in the tech industry and holds a Master’s in Business Administration.

Crystal Richards: Principal and Owner of MindsparQ®, Crystal is a project management trainer on a mission to equip teams with the skills needed for project success. She transforms ordinary project managers into extraordinary ones through her training programs.


Sasha McGhee: An IT Portfolio Manager with a background in business analysis, project, and program management. Sasha's career includes roles in hospitality, K-12 education, and software customer experience industries.


Shannon Gatewood: Senior Director of Strategy, Policy, and Operations at W2 Consulting Corporation, Shannon is a public health consultant with over 15 years of experience leading projects. She is skilled in program planning, development, implementation, and assessment.


Tamara McLemore: Chief Impact Officer coaching individuals to PMP Certification Greatness. Tamara has over 20 years of experience in IT Project Management, working with companies such as Ericsson, Deloitte, and Delta Air Lines.


Tammy Bradford: A Program-Project Manager at the National Alliance on Mental Health, Tammy successfully leads grant-funded projects. She has completed the Google Project Management Certificate and is passionate about helping people.


Tareka Wheeler: A Career & Work-life Strategist with nearly 20 years of experience in program and project management. Tareka uses her personal and professional journey to teach and empower others.


Temple Arthur: Director of Human Resources at Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union, Temple is an accomplished HR professional with over 25 years of experience in talent acquisition and human resource management.
